Sue scores in Curragh opener
The opening Newstalk 106-108FM Handicap at The Curragh today looked wide open on paper and eventually saw three 16/1 shots fill the first three placings, with victory going to the Monica Blake trained Good Time Sue
Ridden by Ben Curtis, the daughter of Commander Collins raced prominently throughout, eventually improving to lead under two furlongs out, staying on well for a half length win over Senators Alibi
The win was the sixth career success and the first at The Curragh, for Newbridge based Blake.
