Chris Hayes completed a treble at Cork today as the dual Classic winning jockey landed the Cork Handicap on the Fozzy Stack trained Starlite Dancer
Hayes won the opening two races with Miss Amulet and Minaun in the Group 3 Marble Hill Stakes, and added to his haul with Starlite Dancer, a son of Canford Cliffs, who today gained a first win at the 13th attempt, when beating Cartesienna by a short-head.
Afterwards trainer Stack stated “he had a couple of good runs last year and it's good to see him get his head in front. He probably wasn't badly in.
“He ran well at Galway last year and could go for something similar again.”
