- Stack lands more Dundalk glory
Stack lands more Dundalk glory
Tommy Stack's Ballydonnell Drive continued the trainer's excellent strike rate and level stake profit at Dundalk when landing the one mile maiden under Billy Lee.
Lee was seen to good effect on board the three-year-old filly, keeping her up to her work to beat Imagination by a length. Little Luxury completed the placings a neck further back.
Ballydonnell Drive was returned at 7/2 for punters following Stack who had a level stake profit of £38.73 from a 22% strike rate at Dundalk prior to this race.
The Conor Hoban ridden Lisianthus finished strongly in fourth place under a tender ride and the stewards severely cautioned the rider.
Hoban stated that he was weaker than normal due to wasting for a light weight.
3/1 favourite Sensational Day finished back in ninth place.
