Well-known BBA Ireland agent Mike Donohoe saw his colours carried to success for the first time when Goresbridge graduate Senyuman (10,000 Euros last May) landed the Follow Dundalk On Facebook Handicap under Shane Foley.
The stoutly-bred daughter of Shirocco showed a good attitude to lead a hundred yards out on the way to a length and a half win from Relay
The victorious chestnut, making her handicap debut here, was the subject of market interest this morning from 6s into half those odds and she eventually went off at 4/1.
Favourite, Toccata Blue was backed from as big as 9/4 this morning into 11/10 but he had to settle for third. Lively outsider Elusive Heir made the pace but he eventually faded into fifth.
Michael Halford trains Senyuman and he remarked: "It's nice to get a bracket for the filly. She settled lovely and she stays well.
"She'll probably get a bit further in time. We might give her a break and freshen her up.
"Her mother (Skerries) was very tough and she won about five – she kept moving up the ratings. This one appears genuine and kept finding for him.
"I'm going back to Dubai on Monday. We have two in on Thursday night - one of them being Russian Soul." (MG & EM)
