Russell and Carberry suffer falls

Davy Russell was sent for x-rays on a suspected broken thumb following a fall from Fier Destrier in the beginners chase at Thurles.

Paul Carberry, who suffered a fall from Judge Deed in the same contest, reported that he had suffered a sprained wrist.

Carberry missed out on two winners with both Cross Appeal and Outlaw Kid scoring for boss Noel Meade.
