Roche making the right Decisions
The Christy Roche trained Good Decision continues to defy the vets, and to a lesser extent the handicapper, and landed his second lifetime win, in the Slaney Handicap Chase at Wexford this evening.
Ridden by Alan Crowe, the son of Kayf Tara battled well to see off Gracchus by a head with Roche later revealing “the vets say they don’t know how he still races because he has a heart problem.”
He added “he has had loads of tests on his heart in the veterinary college and what I’ve been told is to leave big gaps between his races so he will have another long break again now.”
