Leigh Roche, apprenticed to trainer Dermot Weld, partnered his first winner of the year at Leopardstown today in the Follow Leopardstown On Facebook Handicap with the Weld trained Northern Rocked

Afterwards Weld stated “Northern Rocked has been running consistently well and deserved the win. Leigh gave him a good drive.”

He added “Northern Rocked is owned Giovanni Olivero, who regularly makes the trip from Turin to seen his horses run and is present today - he has been a good owner with me for the last twenty years.”
