Dylan Robinson rode out his seven pound claim and in the process partnered his first double when successful on Balko Des Flos in the Follow Us On Social Media Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse.
Robinson (21), who was on the mark earlier aboard Montana Belle and has now ridden five winners since Christmas, had the Gigginstown-owned gelding up with the pace throughout in a strongly run 2m5f event.
The 5/2 chance was left in the lead when Ballyoisin fell four out, and he kept on strongly in the straight to beat the evens favourite Arbre De Vie by 16 lengths. Girly Girl was the only other finisher tailed off in third.
Trainer Henry de Bromhead, who also sent out Montana Belle, recorded an across the card four-timer on the day as he also saddled two winners at Tramore in the shape of Adreamstillalive and Champagne West
A delighted Robinson said, “He gallops away all day, and over further he’ll be better again. I’ve been with Henry for two years now and that’s my first double.”
