Leading Investec Derby contender Ol' Man River could run in the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.
Beautifully bred as a son of Montjeu out of the top-class racemare Finsceal Beo, the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt cost 2,850,000 euro at Goffs and made the perfect start to his career when impressing in a maiden at the Curragh last month.
He also holds an entry in the Somerville Tattersall Stakes at HQ on Thursday.
O'Brien said: "Ol' Man River is a possible for the Royal Lodge, we'll know more tomorrow."
Ol' Man River travelled well and kept on strongly to beat Aared by three-parts of a length on his first run.
