Realt Dubh shows his promise
Noel Meade, leading trainer at Navan, looks to have a talented novice chaser on his hands in Realt Dubh
In a beginners chase race laden with talent, the six-year-old gelding defeated former Grade 1 winning bumper winner Sweeps Hill by two and a half lengths with a further length back to Mouse Morris' Venalmar who thre his chance away by blundering two out.
Meade has high hopes for Realt Dubh. He said: "I would hope he would be good enough to run at the top level. After all he beat some good horses there."
