Pomme Tiepy back to winning ways
The Willie Mullins trained Pomme Tiepy got back to winning ways at Fairyhouse today, winning the Fairyhouse Membership 2009 Hurdle, under Paul Townend.
Fog again resulted in largely impaired viewing of the race although Pomme Tiepy made all for her game five and a half lengths win over 5/4 favourite Cork All Star
Afterwards Mullins reported "I'm delighted with that and Pomme Tiepy looks to be back to herself again."
He added "we'll mix hurdling and chasing with her for the season and she may go to Cork in two weeks time for a Grade 3 Novice Hurdle."
