Oscar Time Cheltenham Bound
On his fifth start over fences and with Ruby Walsh in the saddle for the first time, Oscar Time justified favouritism in the 20% On Line Ticket Discount Novice Chase.
Martin Lynch 's charge produced a good turn of foot to take over before the last where he threw a huge leap, but the 5/4 shot had to be kept up to his work to beat off the renewed effort of main market rival, Good Fella
Lynch said: "It is nice to get Ruby's opinion on the horse. He has been very consistent and I am very happy to win again with him. He just met better ones before now. The Jewson Novices' Chase at Cheltenham is the plan and Ruby didn't put us off going there. I warned him that the horse might be a bit careful there as I do all the schooling with him myself." (EM)
