On-fire Cromwell strikes again
Political Policy

Trainer Gavin Cromwell has done very well with his horses in recent times and his Political Policy continued his own excellent run of form with a fourth win in four months, in the concluding Crowne Plaza Jockey & Trainer Awards Handicap at Dundalk this evening.
Political Policy was held up towards the rear by apprentice jockey Conor McGovern, made good headway from two furlong out and while he drifted slightly left in the closing stages, stayed on to edge a narrow win over Brosnan
Cromwell, a farrier by trade and whose clients include Gordon Elliott, was registering his fourth winner in November and following the success stated "he's so genuine, and has won four now since September and was beaten a nose another night.
"That's his first time over a mile and a quarter and I think there's a mile 0-100 handicap here on Friday week that he could go for."
