Jerandme readily wins the bumper for Mark O'Hare

Mark O’Hare has struck up a prolific association with Noel Meade since the recent retirement of Nina Carberry and the pair combined for their fifth bumper winner already this season with Jerandme in the Knockcroghery (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race.
The 9/10 favourite defied a 7lb penalty for a Down Royal debut win last month, and was confidently ridden by O’Hare.
Meade’s charge travelled strongly to lead early in the straight, and O’Hare did little more than change his hands on the reins as the four-year-old son of Azamour came home a length and three quarters clear. Chasing Abbey made a pleasing debut in second, with Point Break a further three and three quarter lengths back in third.
O'Hare said, "I'd say he's a nice horse. He pulled hard and was green but he's not slow and he's alright that horse."
