O'Connor & Natural take the last
The final race of the evening at Greenmount Park, the Peter Clohessy's Bar and Sin Bin Nightclub Qualified Riders Race, went to the Dermot Weld trained, Matt O'Connor ridden Natural High
Having his first start since finishing second to Donnas Palm at Galway in late October of last year, the son of Sadler's Wells led into the straight and fended off the challenge of Fantasy King (14/1), winning by a length and three parts at the line.
The front two left the third, Zaralabad at 5/1 for Nina Carberry and Charlie Swan, seven lengths behind.
Winning trainer Dermot Weld was recording back to back victories in this contest having scored twelve month ago with Directa King.
Kris Weld representing his father Dermot said afterwards: "Matt gave him a great ride. That was his first run back and he won well at the line. His next run will probably be over hurdles at Galway. He has schooled over hurdles and he jumps them well."
The 11/8fav Jack Cool finished a disappointing fifth for Charles Byrnes and James 'Corky' Carroll.
