Prose brought up Galway doubles for Aidan O'Brien and Seamie Heffernan with victory in the Sean Cleary Memorial Fillies Maiden.
The 2/1 favourite was strongly pressed by Starlight Dream on the run to the home straight.
The pair disputed in the straight, but it was Prose who wrote the winning verse by staying on stoutly inside the final furlong.
She took the honours by three lengths from 13/2 shot Starlight Dream. Dollys Destination was backed from 5/1 to 7/2 and finished third, beaten seven and three quarter lengths by the winner.
“Aidan just said to lie up her neck and she’s taking her racing well,” said Seamie Heffernan.
“Black-type is not out of the question.”
O'Brien and Heffernan also landed the opening juvenile maiden on the card with newcomer Kyprios
