Joseph O'Brien 's Nor Time Nor Tide (9/4) has got a taste for the Kerry air as he followed up on a Killarney success with victory in Listowel's rated race for juveniles.
The Ten Sovereigns colt took over from Old Faithful before halfway in this mile contest and had his rivals on the stretch a furlong and a-half out.
He was ridden to keep up the gallop approaching the final furlong and powered home by two and a-half lengths from Old Faithful (7/4f) who wandered in the closing stages.
Jockey Conor Stone-Walsh said: "We jumped from the gates, we went good and even and he stayed at it well. He was good and brave, I had won on him in Killarney and he stays going very well. He won't quicken much, but stays galloping.
"We weren't sure about the Ballydoyle horse (Old Faithful), but thought we had a good chance and it all worked out."
