Davy Condon sent his mount to the front at the second last and he soon asserted from Deal Done

Noel Meade 's charge tired slightly on the run-in but still had plenty in hand to score by a length-and-a-half.

"He's been running into good ones. He just tied up a bit in the ground and would want it better," said Meade.

"He's in the Jewson and we'll see what the handicapper gives him. Nothing is ruled in or out at the moment."
