New syndicate get off to a flyer
Truly Delightful (far side) is driven out by Niall McCullagh to beat Moreece

A six-man syndicate from Galway, Mayo and Offaly got off to the best possible start when Truly Delightful caused an upset in the extended nine-furlong handicap at Gowran Park.
The 16/1 chance struck the front two furlongs out under Niall McCullagh and kept on well under pressure to beat Moreece by half a length.
The 7/2 favourite Fast On held every chance but could find no more to finish a further two lengths back in third, with Zero Euro completing the placings in fourth.
Winning trainer Tom Cleary said, “The syndicate only leased him off me about three weeks ago. A different syndicate only had him a couple of weeks last year before he won at Listowel!
“Rory missed the boat as he is suspended but he had a chat with Niall this morning and Niall gave him a super ride. He works well at home and is very honest. Hopefully he can get another one.”
