The 10/3 favourite Myladyrose won the Bellamianta Luxury Tanning Handicap Hurdle (Div II) giving 7lb claimer Liam McKenna a third winner of the season.
Runner-up three times previously, including behind the very well-handicapped Dreal Deal at Navan on her most recent start, she overcame a mistake four out to lead between the final two flights.
She was a little awkward at the last as well but kept going gamely to hold Esthers Marvel (9/2) and Short story Long (20/1) by three quarters of a length and half a length.
A second daughter of Jeremy to win on the card, the 7-year-old was getting off the mark on her 20th career start.
Winning trainer Ann Mooney said: “She's a brilliant little mare and tough out.
“It's taken quite a bit to get her here but she's finally strengthened up and we've had a lot of help from a lot of people.
“We had a massive scare four out and I didn't think Liam was going to stay on. Fair play to him he gave her a perfect ride and it all went well in the end.”
