Murtagh records treble
Johnny Murtagh and Aidan O’Brien were back in the winner’s enclosure this evening after 1/4 shot Viscount Nelson ran out a 3/4 length victor of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden for owners Sue Magnier and Diane Nagle.
O’Brien said afterwards, “He’s a lovely horse, he’s still very green and we’re very happy with him. He will never win his races by very far he just does what he has to do. We will try pick up a Listed or Group Race for him next.”
Viscount Nelson made it a treble for jockey Johnny Murtagh and a double for trainer Aidan O’Brien.
