The Willie Mullins-trained debutant More Coko was sent off 4/11 favourite for the Curragh To Curragh Charity Cycle August 31st Flat Race and duly obliged with the minimum of fuss.
The four-year-old son of Cokoriko charted a wide course throughout and came through to lead travelling well in the dip before stretching clear to beat Alaskan View by five-and-a-half lengths.
After Saylavee in the opener, it was a double for Mullins whose wife Jackie owns the bay.
Their son Patrick was on board and commented: "He won well. He was bred by my mother and is for sale. He will be a nice fun horse, he'll win plenty of races and will jump fences and hurdles. He did what we thought he would. He was doing nice work at home. We've won with two of his siblings and his half-brother Dragon Rock won here as well.
"The ground was getting a bit chopped up on the inside and he was a little bit keen early on, so I wanted to keep him away from the other horses to get him relaxed a bit. He was still doing a bit too much all the way. I think he could race more efficiently.
"I think we might try him in a winners' bumper now. He is only four and there is a four-year-old winners' bumper in six weeks or so, so he could go for that."
