Mr Right won his second race in just shy of 24 hours when following up his gambled win at Naas yesterday with another win at Leopardstown today, scoring in the Dublin Horse Show 20-24 July Handicap.
The son Echo Of Light was patiently ridden by jockey Donagh O’Connor who in the end moved him through to lead close home for a half-length win over The Tulip
Mr Right, recording his fourth win of the year, was successful in the 8.30 race yesterday evening and having won today’s 7.55 race, winning trainer Johnny Levins stated “the team have done a great job getting him back out again.
“He was kicking the door down this morning and his bloods were good so there was no reason not to run him.
“Full credit has to go to Donagh — he (Mr Right) was very keen and raw down the back and when he did ‘drop it’ turning in, he gave him a chance and didn't panic. That was the winning of the race and he was very strong on him, so all credit to him.
“We'll treat him like a good horse now.”
