Turfmans Daughter (20/1 into 8/1) justified the confidence of her backers to land the spoils in the National Student Raceday Mares Maiden Hurdle at Limerick.
The Noel Meade-trained seven-year-old showed the benefit of her comeback effort in a mares winners bumper at Navan last Saturday to here beat Open To The World by six and a half lengths.
"We thought a bit of her early on but she ran below par on her comeback run in a bumper recently. She's only now getting back right and she travelled and jumped great today; she wants a trip," said winning rider Ger Fox.
