The 11/10 favourite Moe Sedway easily landed the Eurona Brisknet Maiden in the hands of Colin Keane.
The consistent Gutaifan gelding, placed in his previous five starts, tracked the leaders and pricked his ears when hitting the front inside the final quarter-mile. He was kept up to his work from that point to come home six lengths clear of market rival Relevant Range
Winning trainer, and owner, Noel Meade, “I went too far with him the time before last and Colin said he thinks seven to a mile suits him. He said he’d probably be better in a good race where he’d get a lead.
“He likes a little ease in the ground but doesn’t want soft ground.
“If he doesn’t get sold he’ll run along. He might go to America or somewhere like that and is a horse that will win plenty of races.
“Moe Sedway was the fella that killed Bugsy Siegel, who built Las Vegas.”
