The Dessie Hughes trained Miss Accurate under Richie Harding, caused a 16/1 upset in the Barrow Mares Bumper (div 1) at Wexford this evening.

The four year old daughter of Presenting headed favourite Glibin over a furlong out but needed to battle gamely close home to deny the ‘jolly’.

Afterwards Hughes said “I bought Miss Accurate this day last year for €5,000 at the Goffs Landrover Sale and today was the first day she could get into a race as her previous runs were in much better races. She is a full sister to Themoonandsixpence and deserves a break now.”
