Snow Falcon returns to action for the first time since December at Gowran today where his trainer Noel Meade is expecting a 'big run' from the 12-times winning ten year old.
Meade runs both Snow Falcon and Tout Est Permis in today's Grade 2 Red Mills Chase and he said “we gave Snow Falcon a complete break and he’s come back fresh and seems in great form. Emma (Connolly) rides him out all the time and she thinks he’s in terrific form.
“We think he’ll like the ground and we think he’ll like the trip. We expect a big run from him.
“I had intended to run Tout Est Permis in the Bobbyjo but I was disappointing with him over hurdles at Christmas. I know he’s not as good a horse over hurdles but it looks like he’s not getting home.
“He seems to be in fantastic form so we’ll give this a try and see how he goes. The shorter trip should suit him.”
