Hi Stranger

Several horses have shortened in the betting for this evening's card in Roscommon.
Noel Meade runs two in the nightcap at 7.30 and his Gudrun Genberg has more than halved in price from 14/1.
She steps up in trip for this extended 1m3f handicap after a never nearer fourth over 1m1f in Tipperary. Cheekpieces are deployed for the first time.
It's a similar story with John Kiely's Hi Stranger in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden (6.30).
She trades around 7/1 from 16/1 for this extended 1m3f contest.
This is her first outing on the Flat after keeping good company in bumpers. She won two races in that sphere and was runner-up in a Listed mares' bumper at Gowran Park in October. Smooth Tom is very strong in the market for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Race (6.00).
Andrew Slattery 's Elzaam gelding has been placed in his last couple of outings and is generally 5/2 from 6/1.
