In the opening juvenile maiden at the Curragh today (2.55pm), newcomers John Honeyman and Lancaster Bomber have attracted support at big prices.
John Honeyman, a grey son of Dark Angel, represents Jessica Harrington and was backed from 25/1 to 12/1 this morning.
Aidan O'Brien runs three in the race and his Lancaster Bomber was taken at 16s in early trading. Have A Nice Day won the seven-furlong handicap on this card last year and is 6/1 from 8/1 to repeat the feat.
Joseph O'Brien's Udogu is popular in the Boodles Ladies Derby Handicap at 6.20pm. He was a beaten favourite in Leopardstown earlier this month and his supporters believe he will be recompensed today. The 8/1 has been snapped up leaving him at 5/1.
The two for money in the closing Kilsaran International Maiden are Ex Patriot (10/1 to 6/1) and Twilight Payment who is 6/4 from 9/4.
