Three Majors made a quick return to action to land the spoils in the Icon Apprentice Handicap at Leopardstown.
Paul Deegan 's charge had finished fifth at Killarney just over 24 hours before but showed no ill effects from his trip up and down the country.
Ana O'Brien swooped from the rear on the 7/1 shot as he hit the front inside the final furlong.
The Lilbourne Lad gelding was all out at the line to hold the late charge of Sufoof by a head.
“I'd say he was wondering what was going on when I loaded him on the box again. He's a bit of a monkey but has plenty of ability,” said Deegan.
“He picked up well. That's the way to ride him and that's his trip.
“The plan was to bounce him out and come back again and then go for the first three-year-old hurdle in Roscommon.
“Whether he goes to Galway I don't know but I doubt it. He jumps well and I'd say he'll go for the hurdle.”
