Lynam gets lucky
Trainer Eddie Lynam gained a measure of compensation for the short head defeat of his Duff in the featured Glencairn Stakes at Leopardstown this evening, when his Spin Of A Coin gained a deserved win in the Undertones Handicap.
Reflecting on Duff’s defeat Lynam stated “I though Duff had won but it wasn’t to be. Spin Of A Coin, however, deserved a win having been raised 8lbs for three placed efforts. He’s entered in a few races next week and will probably run.”
