Local Limerick winners for Flavin & Bolger
Locally based trainers Enda Bolger and Marian Flavin both recorded wins at Limerick today, with Bolger's well backed winner My Lord Oscar providing more headaches for bookmakers.
My Lord Oscar's win (7/2 - 7/4f) in the Freeman Keane Associates Handicap Chase was further bad news for the layers, having seen five winning favourites the previous day.
Crecora based Marian Flavin recorded her first winner of the season when her Moving On who recorded an easy 24 lengths in the Stand Up and Fight Handicap Hurdle to provide winning amateur rider Barry John Foley with his second racecourse winner.
