Liszt calls the tune at Killarney
Aidan O'Brien's Liszt made all under an enterprising ride from jockey Colm O'Donoghue to win the Killarney Waste Disposal Ltd Handicap at Killarney today.
O'Donoghue jumped the son of Galileo out in front and soon opened up a clear lead over his nine rivals. Liszt did begin to tire inside the final furlong and passed the post a length and three parts ahead of runner-up Cybersnow
O'Brien was absent, for what was his fourth win at the Festival meeting, but his wife Annemarie did mention “Colm gave that some ride and kept enough in reserve to win. Liszt is a brave horse and is improving all the time.”
