Leagan Gaeilge 3/1 jt fav) made a quick reappearance to land the Caragh Nurseries Handicap over a mile at Naas. The daughter of Vocalised, a creditable third behind Waitingfortheday on Irish Oaks day at the Curragh on Saturday, showed no ill-effects by battling on for Kevin Manning to hold Major Reward by a neck.
The other 3/1 joint favourite, Katiymann was last of five. The winner, a versatile type, won her maiden on deep ground at Gowran last back-end, and scored on contrasting terrain here.
Winning trainer Jim Bolger remarked : "She's been running well. I doubt if she will go to Galway but she will be out again soon."
