Grand National winning jockey Robbie Power landed the Festival 3 For 2 Ticket Offer Handicap Steeplechase at Punchestown today on the Colin Bowe trained Kashline (9/2).
The son of Oscar overcame a few jumping errors and while untidy at the last, stayed on well for a three and three parts of a length win over Jupitor
Power later stated “the heavy ground the last day in Cork was very tacky and hard work.
“He's not over-big and puts a lot of effort into his jumping but travelled a lot sweeter today. He struggled a bit in the soft patch in the back but when he hit the better ground he picked up well.”
