There was another shock in the bumper at Roscommon as rank outsider Josie S And B made all for victory.
The 33/1 shot looked to be running freely early as she opened up a big lead under Steven Crawford.
The gap was reduced in the home straight but Shane Ryder's charge found enough under pressure to keep going for a three-and-a-half length success.
5/4 favourite Klepht tried hard to peg back the winner but after initially cutting down the lead early in the straight he could make no more inroads from the furlong pole.
The winner had been tailed off on her previous start at Tramore having been a moderate fifth on her debut at Ballinrobe.
"The win is down to Shane really as it was his idea to make the running," said Crawford afterwards.
"I had a look over my shoulder going down the back and thought I'd win but after I turned into the straight I thought I was in trouble. She kept on really well."
There was strong support for both Summers King (14/1 in morning into 9/2 on course) who finished third and Four Wives (16/1 into 4/1 in morning returned 9/2) who made no impression in fifth.
