Jon Snow recorded his first success over fences when staying on strongly to take the Dan Tim & Sheila O'Sullivan & Family Beginners Chase at Killarney.
Always travelling nicely under jockey Sean O'Keeffe, the Willie Mullins trained seven-year-old was sent to the front three out and kept on well for pressure to run out a snug winner.
Successful over hurdles at the corresponding meeting last year, the Le Havre gelding clearly has a liking for this track.
Trainer Willie Mullins was completing a hat-trick on the day, following the earlier wins of Quel Reve and Champagne Problem in the opening two races at Kilbeggan.
Winning rider Sean O'Keeffe said; "he jumped really well today, that trip suits him and while he can be a bit big jumping, that trip gives him plenty time and he picked up nicely after the last.
"The experience gained at Galway stood to him and he was very straightforward today and I was happy everywhere."
