Job Fit to emulate his brother

A year on from his brother, Hidden Oasis, taking the Guinness 17:59 European Breeders Fund Median Auction at Galway, Fit For The Job lived up to his name for the same connections.
Owned by J P McManus, trained by David Wachman and ridden by Fran Berry, Fit For The Job went off the well-backed 11/8 favourite and he justified the confidence of his supporters in convincing style.
Never far away, the Lawman gelding was ridden to lead a furlong out and he was soon gone beyond recall on his way to a three length verdict over the Weld filly Bleu Ciel Et Rouge
"Like his brother last year he liked the ease in the ground. He did it quite well.
"He was a bit raw when he was asked to go forward," said Wachman. (AM & EM)
