Miss Jabeam burst through in the closing stages to land back-to-back wins, in the six-furlong handicap at Leopardstown tonight.
Billy Lee had to wait for a gap on the 5/1 shot and got the split between horses to lead in the last 50 yards.
The Aidan Howard-trained filly went on to record a neck victory over Ducky Mallon
Miss Jabeam was following up on her win at the Curragh 18 days ago.
“I'm very happy with her, she did it well enough,” said Howard.
“Billy said they went a good gallop, he was only biding his time and got a lovely trip around the inner.
“The gap came but Robbie Colgan kind of closed it and it just came in time again.
“The top of the ground seems to be the key to her. She was very weak as a two-year-old and this season she seems to be getting stronger. Hopefully the handicapper is not too hard on her.”
