The Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden at Dundalk this evening boasted four horses with previous placed form but in the end was won by taking newcomer Quadrivium (15/2), for trainer David Wachman and jockey Wayne Lordan.
The son of Henrythenavigator quickened well in the straight to edge past Vector Force a furlong out, scoring a three parts of a length success over that rival, who has now finished second on all three starts.
Wachman was absent but Lordan later stated “he travelled around well and handled the surface. He's a nice horse, was still a little green and there's plenty of improvement in him; it's nice to get him started.”
