Impersonator supplies Mullins with first Festival win
Jockey Emmett Mullins recorded his first Galway Festival winner when Impersonator claimed the Easyfix Handicap Hurdle for his Uncle Tony Mullins.
Mullins sent 11/2 shot to the front two flights from home and kept on well up the hill to beat Acclaimed and John Cullen by a length and a quarter.
Winning jockey Mullins said afterwards: “He travelled well throughout, he needs to be kept on the bridle and he stayed at it well.”
