Hoban brings the Chap with a late run to score
Conor Hoban rode his sixth winner of the season and his ninth in all when he brought Chaparro with a strong late run to land the bookings@ dundalkstadium. com Handicap for Michael Halford.
In the familiar Paul Rooney silks, Hoban was last turning-in but he soon began to make his ground. Though drifting in to the left, the High Chaparral five-year-old wasn't to be denied close home as he got up by a head to deprive the front-running Ionisphere
Hoban said: "He travelled well to the straight and picked up real well. You can't really get too aggressive with him or he'll stop."
