He's Complete bounced back to form to open his account in the Lynn Lodge Stud Maiden at Navan.
Fozzy Stack's charge had been well beaten on his last couple of starts in handicap company and went to post a 16/1 shot.
The application of blinkers seemed to spark a revival, however, as he tracked the favourite Mirror Man in the extended five furlong contest.
Chris Hayes' mount grabbed the front-runner inside the final furlong and went on to record a two-and-a-half length success.
“He did it well. Fozzy decided to put the blinkers on him and told me to keep it very simple on him,” said Hayes.
“We thought he'd have enough experience that I'd be able to sit good and handy on him. He won snug.
“It obviously wasn't the strongest race and hopefully we can do something in a handicap again.”
