Darragh O’Keeffe replaced the injured Rachael Blackmore on Havingagoodtime and he got the 8/15 shot home three and three parts of a length in front in the opening Walter Hennessy Auctioneer, Valuer And Estate Agent MIPAV TRV MCEI Mares Beginners Chase at Tipperary.
Never far away, the successful Mount Nelson mare had to come a second time after being headed by Heliers Bay before the last.
Henry de Bromhead’s winner forged clear on the run-in to pretty quickly assert.
"I'm delighted for Sean (Barton) and Michelle (Doyle) who have been very patient with her - she had a bad year last year and lost her form completely but it is great to see her back,” said de Bromhead.
"She had a good run at Wexford and even after her first run back at Tramore we were happy and hopefully she will keep progressing now. We were hoping we'd be winning today and Darragh was thinking she could go up in trip and it would be well worth looking at anyway.
"I spoke to Rachael yesterday morning, she has had her operation and has now to recover. She sounded in good spirits which was great."
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Abbi Shore (GB) trained by Colin Bowe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
Alan Delany, Authorised Representative for E. D. Delany, trainer of Serpolette reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped wrong post race.
