Gloriously Glam (9/2) provided trainer Jessica Harrington with consecutive wins in Irish nursery races today, as she replicated the result of stablemate Lady O's success last week, in landing Sligo's Guinness Nursery.
Harrington's Lady O scored by an eased-down 4.5 lengths in the second nursery held this year at the Galway festival last Saturday and today her Gloriously Glam won by that same winning margin, and in similar fashion, for the Glamour & Glory Syndicate.
Lady O earned a 12lb ratings' rise following Saturday's success but today Foley explained "I got a present of it. We went really slow and I got to dictate.
“I got a good 'steady' into her between the four and the two (furlong markers) which helps around here.”
Foley, who earlier won on Harrington's Kodilicious added: "Gloriously Glam had some okay maiden runs, she just got a bit lost at Leopardstown the last day on the fast ground. I thought she'd run well today, I wasn't sure about the ground but she handled it well."
"Ronnie (Ronan Whelan) and myself bought her as a yearling and intended to breeze her, but in the end we sold her to the girls, so it's a bit more special."
