The highlight of the year on the Flat at Roscommon, the Listed Lenebane Stakes, is the centre-piece of today's action in Ireland, and following watering at the Racecourse Road venue the going is described as good.
Temperatures of up to 22 degrees are expected, and an eight race card is set to begin at 4.40.
One of the early market-movers occurs in the feature, with Noel Meade's Layfayette the Lincoln winner, shortening up into a solid second market choice behind favourite Reve De Vol
Layfayette was last seen in action when finishing sixth in the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot nearly a fortnight back.
