Galway is Soft, Soft to Heavy in places (on the National Hunt course) and Soft to Heavy (on Flat track) after a dry night.

The forecast is for showers today (approximately 4-6mm of rain) with a mainly dry day on Sunday and the possibility of heavy showers in the early hours of Monday.

Today's eight-race National-Hunt card gets under way at 1.08pm.

Gordon Elliott 's Three Card Brag returns in the extended two mile maiden hurdle after winning a Wexford bumper on debut in March.

The track hosts another National Hunt card tomorrow and action on the Flat on Monday.

Meanwhile, the going at Wexford (ahead of National Hunt racing on Sunday and Monday) is Soft, Heavy in places.

The forecast remains unsettled with up to 12mm (approximately) of rain prior to racing.

Fresh ground in use on the hurdle track on Monday and fresh ground on the bends on the chase track.
