Ballinrobe

There is a fixture at Ballinrobe today starting at 2.45pm. The racecourse hosts eight races on its jumps card. At the last update the going on the hurdle course was good while on the chase track the ground was good, good to firm in places.
The Ballinrobe Race Committee Chase at 5.50pm is a competitive affair though Noel Meade's Tom Horn has seen plenty of money as he has shortened to 15/8 from 3/1. His main market rivals are Golden Wonder, Black Benny and Minella For Value
Meanwhile, the going at Navan ahead of Saturday's meeting is good to firm (monitoring weather regarding watering). The limit has been reduced to 18 runners in all races on its card.
Elsewhere, the Curragh is currently good, good to firm places (round course) and good in the straight. The forecast is to become unsettled later in the week. It races on Sunday.
Co Limerick (F) Athlacca point-to-point has been cancelled on Saturday 9th November due to badly damaged ground.
