The ground at Wexford remains good. The track was watered overnight and the forecast is for a dry and warm day.
The first of seven races on the National Hunt card gets under way at 2.25pm. The races will be run left-handed at the track for the first time today.
In the opening two mile maiden hurdle Hunting Harry has been well supported from 4/1 to 5/2. The four-year-old gelding is starting out on his jumps career for Sandra Hughes.
In the 2.55 race Teoleena has contracted to 13/8 from 7/2 as Cest Notre Gris has weakened to 2/1 from 6/4. In the 3.25 contest Paul Nolan's Solita is very solid from 11/4 to 15/8.
Fairyhouse races tomorrow and the going is good (watering to maintain). The weather is forecast to be dry and warm today and tomorrow.
Meanwhile, ahead of racing on Saturday the ground at Limerick is good to yielding.
