Tom George reports God's Own to be on course to appear at the Cheltenham Festival.
Runner-up to Un De Sceaux in the Arkle last season he ran a fine race at Kempton recently when he was second to Josses Hill
The eight-year-old holds two entries at the Festival next month, with George just preferring the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase over the Ryanair at this stage.
"I'm very happy with him.
"He came out of his Kempton race very well and we're just stepping things up with him now and he'll be ready for Cheltenham," said the Slad handler.
"He's in the Ryanair and the Champion Chase. At this stage we're probably leaning towards the Champion Chase with him, but we haven't made any firm decisions yet."
